I take great joy in repairing and restoring old steel frames to full function. Virtually any steel frame can be repaired, upgraded, or re-aligned to meet your needs—from adding bottle bosses and cable guides to replacing a down tube.

The repair process mirrors new frame building, using the jig for alignment and preparing the final product for repainting.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Paint & Preparation: Significant paint damage often occurs during repair, which may necessitate a full respray (advised after assessment). Please deliver the frame stripped; otherwise, a £50 stripping fee applies. Old fittings removal is charged at 50% of the new fitting cost (e.g., a brake bridge removal is £15.00).

Materials: We use Reynolds 631 for main frame repairs (unless specified otherwise) and 525 for all other tubing
