Time trialling is a uniquely British pursuit and one that I love. I built this bike as a celebration of steel and a celebration of going as fast as possible. A Columbus Life tubeset paired with Columbus Max chainstays provides the frame with surprisingly good ride quality, while being stiff enough to make it feel responsive and fast. The carbon fork and TT-specific brake options mean this bike is as aero as steel gets.

The farings are made of sheet stainless steel and silver soldered in place. My personal preference is for long-distance (50 miles+), so I’ve tried to include mounting options for food, bottles and tools, while retaining the race feel of the frame.

The paint, by Cromaworks, is an astonishing dazzle camouflage inspired by the early 20th-century battleships and won the Best Paint Prize at Bespoked 2025.
